I think a large portion is recruiting but not 80%. You have to have good to great coaches to put players in the right position to succeed. You also need to run the right offense/defense/special teams. I would say 55% recruiting and 45% coaching/scheme. But I get his comment because the biggest/fastest athletes can make up for some bad coaching.
