Being the only BYU fan family in the ward growing up made us targets for Ute fans to TP and egg us, paint a big red U on our garage door and several more on our lawn. Several instances of this happening from our "friends" in the ward.

As an adult, about half the time I wear BYU clothing out in public I get some sort of Ute fan getting up in my face to yell "Go Utes", spit on me or make some crude Church related insult.

I'm still friends with many Utah fans but I refuse to talk College Football or the rivalry with them for the friendship's sake.
