Can an average gymnast put the shot or throw a discuss, hit a major league base-
ball?
Can a gymnast complete an Olympic downhill race course?
Can one break 10 seconds in the 100m dash for men or 11 seconds for women?
The average gymnast is much smaller than that of other athletes enabling that person to complete rotations that a larger athlete just can do from a physics perspective. How does being smaller make that person a greater athlete than what the larger athlete can do?
