multiple FCS games in a year, and there's not many, if any, bottom tier FBS teams in the west that would be willing to play a one-off in Provo (or SLC, the same analysis applies to Utah and is why Utah has alternated between 6 and 7 home games per year). The crappy C-USA, Sun Belt, and MAC teams that are willing to do a one-off road game have plenty of options closer to home with big payouts, which games are also more likely to be in their recruiting areas. So don't hold your breath for 7 every year.
