I also avoid investments where you have to file an individual state tax return...because I do my own taxes.

Also saves me big $$ doing it myself. I mow my own lawn, we clean our own house. Stuff we can do reasonable by ourselves, we do it. I can spend an hour at the gym or I can spend an hour working on my yard. No time difference except I save the time driving to the gym. Win win.
