I think nearly everyone who plays or coaches or watches soccer acknowledges that soccer is probably the sport least
affected by coaches once the game starts. Almost like basketball, except that basketball gets timeouts.
It’s even worse at the international stage, where managers get very limited time with players. The international is one of the truest talent v talent games out there.
