Have definitely considered going in fully with unify and getting a UDM pro
I’ll see how much maintenance and upkeep OPNSense reqires. And how much maintenance it takes to keep the unified controller docker running.
Getting a unify router/firewall would combine both of these into one commercially available box.

Yes. It loads into RAM off a USB stick when the server is booted. It is possible

It was a typo. Edited to fix. Should have been SDD with Untangle on it
