From my POV, it looks like the Gobert/Mitchell trades were a big failure. They had a competitive playoff team and because they couldn't get over the hump decided to go for a rebuilding process that would last for half a decade or longer? As if there's any guarantee that this would turn them into a contender anyway, or if in five years they'll still be a six or seven seed.
