The only reason to trade him is contract considerations, it that were to be the case. He's the cornerstone of building a great team. If the Jazz can't resign him then they will probably trade him sooner rather than later.

Can the Jazz draft or sign a better player(s)? What exactly is Ainge trying to do with the Jazz? He told Lauri to buy a house signalling they are keeping him. But Lauri may want to move on to a playoff team. Can't blame him. The Jazz aren't there yet.

The Jazz need to figure this thing out. They've traded away a lot of good players for first round picks. Those FRP's have got to be molded into a playoff contender of a team pretty soon. The Jazz can't go on tanking, they are not good at it at all. They've been half trying to win and half tanking. Which hasn't turned out well.

The Jazz have some possibly good young players. Not looking like a playoff team anytime soon though
