A kid in our ward has been in contact with BYU track coaches in hopes of at least trying out as a freshman in September, but unfortunately just learned they aren’t doing an open tryout now (or perhaps ever again). The kid still has work to do to improve times but is knocking in the door, and is new to her events, so there’s reason to believe the current improvement trend can continue. Whether for her own interest or in hopes of taking another run at BYU the following year, are there Provo-area competitive clubs for post-HS kids that anyone recommends?
