They did very well in football but the fall is coming when Whitt retires. I just don't see Scalley getting the job. There is too much DEI in the administration at that school to let Scalley get the job bc of the N word incident. I think its insane but I just don't see it happening. I also think the AD wants to put his mark on the program by picking his own person not Whitt's person.

And with that said if its not Scalley then it will be someone who is not LDS or at a minimum someone who doesn't understand the LDS dynamic and if that happens you will BYU move back in to getting the vast majority of LDS in state kids and I am talking the 4 star recruits not the Utah County All Stars.
