I have 7 children and 3 were married in 1 year. We were down to 2 at home and
our home seemed too large, so we downsized.
That was a mistake.
Our myopic view was in the need of bedrooms, but in downsizing, we also lost the space to host family events. Luckily, 2 of the children have houses even larger than what we downsized from, but at times are reluctant to host.
So, if I had it to do over again, I don't believe I'd have downsized.
