"Might as well get my CDL and drive truck so I have somewhere to sleep at night"
This is what a 17 year old I work with said was the reason he was going to be a long haul truck driver.
Said rents too high and he'll never be able to afford a house. At least the cab of a truck will give him somewhere to sleep at night.
