He's no Lanier (or Trey Stewart). Crawford's quick, but he's not long, & is a pretty average athlete.
Size-wise, he's a bit more limited limited than Trey, I'd think. We obviously hope Catchings & Demin are athletic enough to switch onto most guards & be effective — & in Egors case, maybe even to guard smaller guards quite a bit.
But we will face guys like Pops who will give us issues. (That was a game I'm pretty sure Pope woulda tried his hand w Stewart for a spell in the 2nd half — if he could do it over. We just needed SOMEONE to slow him down & get his outa rhythm for 3-5 minutes.
