Long lanky guys slip through/around picks easier than bulky guys…
…and their length helps them recover and challenge shots. Crawford is a quicker small guard himself, why wouldn’t he be able to stay in front of other quick guards.

He's no Lanier (or Trey Stewart). Crawford's quick, but he's not long, & is a pretty average athlete.

He had his limits w quickness & speed, though. SJ was the master at shedding screens & taking recovery angles.
