Even if RID is not required, you can't use even a 250g drone "pretty much
anywhere." My kids took their drone to their grandparents house, but I check the B4U Fly app, and learned that the posh rehab center a few blocks away had a helipad, so my parents' house was in a no-fly zone.
A lot of Spanish Fork is no-fly due to the airport.
