Wide variation of practice based on the transplant center. In general stents or
Bypass do absolutely nothing to reduce the risk so the general trend is moving away from revascularization of asymptomatic patients (screening angiograms or stress tests followed by stents/surgery) as you’re putting these guys through more risk of their heart procedures/surgeries than the risk of the transplant.

Even with stents it’s typically just a 3-6 mo wait now and it’s pretty rare to be completely excluded based solely on heart disease. If you are chances are you can find a center that’ll do it - obviously some are hypersensitive of anything that’ll knock their scores/outcomes.
