Any stories where something went really wrong with one you had? I don't want to be a nuisance and will probably mostly use it where there are hardly any people around. It seems like they're best suited to capture remote locations/scenery anyway.

We're going to Bali soon, so that's where I plan to introduce this new hobby to my kids. I'm guessing my 12 and 10 year old sons will really enjoy it, and my 6 year old daughter might want to give it a try as well. Hopefully it won't become so riveting that they fight over it, but hey those things happen.
