Dry mouth side effect can be very damaging to teeth. I’ve seen some people that have had massive tooth decay stemming from dry mouth. Avoid sugar products like the plague. Sugar mints cough drops gum combined with dry mouth will ravage the teeth.

You may want to increase dental exams/cleaning to 4x a year

Have a topical fluoride treatment done at each cleaning

Use a high fluoride prescription tooth paste like Fluoridex

Brush at least 3x per day. Morning, after lunch and right before bed.

Use artificial salivas, mouth sprays and lozenges that are specifically for treatment of dry mouth like Biotene products. Do not frequently eat high sugar content foods, drinks, snacks or candy.
