other ways they could have gone with this that would have been more interesting. It was fine and kept my attention; but it could have been so much better. This was the first movie just played out in a different location with different lead characters.

IMO, It was also a little too full of itself, trying too hard to be a deep, compassionate, feel good movie. I heard one person say they should have called it The Quiet Cat...come on, what cat is quiet that long. There were more really stupid components to it...the cat being one..than the other two movies.

It was essentially the same movie with less intensity and more head-scratching moments. I wanted story development...why were the aliens (or whatever they call them) here...how were they organized, how did they get here, how could they be defeated...move the story line along somehow. Maybe go back to their planet...I don't know...just something different.

Or maybe continue with the same family as the first two shows and show how they team up with others to defeat the aliens. I don't know...give us something else.

The four of us that went to it thought it was considerably slower, less fun than the other two...but still worth a watch, but maybe on $5 Tuesday. 2 maybe 2.5 stars out of 4 for me.
