Thanks. My whole problem is the slip fitting on the right is the thing that’s leaking.
I was afraid I wouldn’t have enough length to add another slip fitting on the right once I had to cut the old one off. I’m to the “screw it” point now though so I’ll just cut it and put a new slip fitting on the right and see if that inch of remaining pipe is enough to hold. Should be fine but won’t be enough pipe to slip it all the way in the fitting.
