One nitpick on the evaluation of BYU by media "experts"...
Caveat: I haven't reviewed other B12 rosters much at all.

However, I know the best teams in the country tend to have a couple of 1-and-done players on their roster. For the first time in forever, BYU might have a couple of those guys.

Here's the nitpick--some people (at least Wilner) are saying BYU lacks the depth and/or experience to compete in the B12. I'm not saying they're necessarily wrong because I haven't done any in-depth review of other teams. But the implication of some of these experts is that the players BYU added aren't as good as the players other teams added, particularly 1-and-done players. My question is who knows how good any 1-and-done players for any team are until games are played? None of them have a track record playing at the level of the B12.

BYU has gotten a lot of positive press lately, but there are still some who seem to think that BYU is not a blue blood like Kansas or Kentucky or UConn so there's no way their one-and-done players can be as good as the players the teams everyone agrees are blue bloods got.

Obviously, it will take some time for BYU to build their reputation in terms or record and getting players drafted, but it does seem like some experts are selling the Cougars short, at least in part based on past performance instead of what's currently happening with the program. Frankly, it's not really a big issue. BYU will have the opportunity to show what they've got soon enough. All I really hope for is an injury-free season and some clear progress.
