Similar thing happened on that great 2020 team when Zac Seljaas again came out of nowhere to be a major contributor on the glass to support Yoeli Childs. Zac never again shot as well as he did as a freshman, but he morphed into an excellent rebounder in his last year.
Hand it to Pope for inspiring some of his emotionally tougher guys to become rebounders in the off season when they had never before done it.
But I think is almost certain that one of the freshmen, perhaps an unexpected one like Crawford or Koz, will shoot lights out and force himself into major minutes. Mother Nature abhors a vacuum and someone who knows he has to goods will fill it.
