You are correct. She is Thurl's niece. Her mom is/was a member.
Morgan was babysat by two of my girls many times when they lived in my ward in Orem. At that time her mother was very active and Morgan attended Primary. Have not been close to them since I moved from the ward.

I'm not sure she is a member. Isn't she a niece or something to Thurl? So she had the connection to BYU.
