it hurts to see her go to rival, but might be good for her to continue to
progress her career because perhaps she could come back to BYU in 10+ future years as a head coach.
I assume Morgan is LDS (she played at BYU). So perhaps in the women's side she is an equivalent to a Burgess hire. I think the U of U women's coaches are not LDS and most of their players aren't, so Bailey could be a hire to appeal to any standout high school recruit in the area who is LDS.

I'm not sure she is a member. Isn't she a niece or something to Thurl? So she had the connection to BYU.
