we plug into our house. It’s been able to run the well pump, fridges, lights, etc but the A/C will not turn on (even if I turn off the breakers for everything else so all the power *should be going toward the A/C).

Is my generator simply too small to power a typical A/C unit or is there something else I should investigate?

I admittedly know nothing about this type of stuff
