My son is good and is just entering HS now. I'd say do as much as he wants to
do (and works for you too) and is still having fun doing it. My son has always been pretty good in any sport he's tried since he was little.

I wouldn't cut other sports out at 9. I'd say maybe Middle school age maybe think about focusing on just 2 sports and then you'll have more time for camps/tournaments to get him basketball exposure. I'm on the non sports specialization side, keep doing at least 2 sports imo.

#1 thing at age 9 is having fun and learning good fundamentals.
