Yikes, didn't realize the difference was that significant.
The 1500 Sierra 4x4 Short Bed with a factory lift and the 6.2L L78 engine (which I assume covers the AT4 and Trail Boss trims) has a payload of 1660lbs. But the Sierra 1500 4x4 Short Bed AT4X with the L78 is only 1350lbs.
A 310 lb payload gap is huge.
