What problems? Why would a company have this? Only shady companies
maintaining unfair practices would ever need this.
I've never discussed my compensation with my co-workers and I never intend to. I don't want to know what they make either. I'd rather not know. But if they want to talk about it with others, that's their right.

You'd want to look at state law on that. My understanding is the law generally protects the discussion of compensation.
