So i have a good friend who is a diehard USC fan. Like obnoxiously huge fan. Grew up in SoCal and all that. Generations of USC fans in his family. But i texted him asking about the Delusional Utes and their claim that they have this huge alleged rivalry with USC that they are sad not to have anymore in our small little conference. Here was his reply:

“Utah is not even on the radar as a rival. Good for them, they got us a few times during one of the worst periods in our history. That's it for me and any fans I know anyways.”

Anecdotal for sure. But he’s connected. Just thought it was funny. And checks out.
