Don't blame employees. I'm building a house and our concrete company didn't
finish the job that was poured last week. It's a unique insulated foundation and needed a few more steps that could have been completed in less than an hour the day they poured, but they didn't finish the job and it led to some unnecessary damage and I had to request that they complete it twice before they responded. The crew showed up today and started removing the insulation they were supposed to be protecting.

The supervisor called to tell me what happened and not only did he blame his employees for the mistake (bad management both last week and today), but then he asked if he could use insulation that I bought for another part of the house to fix their problem.

No you can't use my other insulation to fix your problem, and don't blame your employees for bad management and no training. Also, you don't get paid until the job is finished correctly.
