With all of the "Glitz," people are completely under-valuing Fouss. The guy is
absolutely awesome! And will only get better with some other quality BIGS (and wings) taking pressure off him. Last year, B12 teams knew that and totally tried to collapse down and throw the kitchen sink at him, and he still excelled.

It's crazy, people don't remember that he actually has the highest FG% IN BYU HISTORY!!! Fouss's FG % is 62.6% over 3 yrs. That's way better than the next highest player in BYU history, Alan Taylor at 57.7, and also Araujo at 56.7, Chatman at 54.9, Roberts at 54.6, Plaisted at 53.5, Keena Young at 52.9, and Cosic at 48.7. That's pretty good company for an undersized 6'6" playing center!!

And at one point last year, Fouss had a 65% shooting % mid year, which would have been top 10 in the NCAA, but because of his injury, he didn't qualify. That would have been on par with UA's Omar Ballo, and better than Creighton's Kalkenbrenner, Uconn's Clingan, USF's Mogbo, Purdue's Edey, and and UNM's Toppin, all players much taller than Fouss. He would also have been better than USU's Osobor, KU's Dickinson, and Duke's Fillipowski, who were all under 60 %. And to do it at 6'6" in the post means he has excellent post moves, and great shot selection. Not only that, he shoots 75% from the FT line as well. No matter how people try to talk about the "modern NBA game," good shot selection and great FG% in the middle never go out of style, and will always have big value to any team. Throw it in to Fouss when you really need a bucket - it's the equivalent to the football RB who can always be counted on to get you the first down on short yardage when you really need it.
People need to stop under-valuing Fouss, just because we signed some Glitz.
