I have begged him to stop driving for the last few years. My mom doesn't drive, but that shouldn't matter, they live in a retirement home. They shouldn't have to drive themselves anywhere.

My FIL was a very dangerous driver at 81 so we had to take away his license.

I can tell you right now that I’ll go crazy when I can no longer drive. I probably drive 90 miles a day on average.
