You attach the cleat to the wall at the studs, attach the other angled ledger board to the back of the cabinet, then hang the cabinet. You also have to brace the bottom of the cabinet with something of the same thickness.

I've done this when hanging a cabinet myself and I don't have someone else to hold the cabinet in place while I attach it. I'm sure you can find some videos online.
