Ive shared this before, but a guy I work w/ has a 4* son that plays for Penn St
...He told me that all scholarship players last season received minimum $2,500/mo or $30K/yr.

Non-starting sophomores and upper class received $4K/mo or $50K/yr

Starters (not sure if this includes punters and kickers) received $100K+/yr. minimum (obviously some of the top players could easily be in the millions, but the floor was $100K)

I spoke with him earlier this year and he said things were changing rapidly, but those figures were accurate as of last season. So if you do the math based on 85 scholarships per team:

24 starters= minimum of $2.4M but I bet QB is $500K-$1M+ alone, maybe an OT, Edge or stud LB/CB is in that ballpark as well, so let's figure $6M for starters total (maybe slightly higher?)

There are probably around 25 freshmen x $30K = $750K minimum... but you know some of the top commits to a top-tier team are getting again in the $500K-$1M range... so maybe top 3 or 4 commits are getting $3M or so +$750K (rounding numbers here) so $4M

All the other players not starting (around 30) x $50K = $1.5M

So $11-12M is probably ballpark of how the NIL is paying out currently for top-tier P2 Schools. Mid-level P2 and top-tier P4 are probably half to 2/3 that, would be my guess
