Give up - it's an obsession
You can talk about good examples of why height alone isn't super necessary at times in today's modern game, and all you will get back is: "Yeah, but, UCF ..." or "Yeah, but, Kansas ..." or yada yada. Yes, height helps a lot. But lots of teams play without tons of height on the roster.

Or, you can point out that we have players with solid height, though some are role player types:

* Adam Stewart, 6'11"
* Townsend Tripple, 6'8"
* Max Triplett, 6'9"
* Keba Keita, 6'8"
* Brody Kozlowski, 6'8"

And, then you will just get back - "Those guys are never going to see the floor" or "That guy's not ready to play" or "That guy's not a 5" or some other variation on a theme. And, that could be right.

So, even if you acknowledge height on the roster that currently exists, what folks REALLY want is a 7-footer dominant big. Which is fine. But, they will likely ignore the players we currently have at BYU who have height.
