Rising back, I could see you winning the Big 12 this year. Talented roster, good defense, great QB. I can be realistic about that. Utah's football team is very good.

But it's not a forgone conclusion.

And: maybe you forgot, but BYU is worth more financially than Utah. As is at least half the Big 12.

A random few year's stretch of a good football team doesn't make you the flagship, just like a slide by Texas doesn't make them not valuable.

Have a bad team or 2 and the narrative falls apart. BYU had a bad year or 2 and are still valuable. Just like OK State and TT would be.

Stop acting like ya'all are such a massive brand. You're embarrassing me as a Utah resident. The level of hubris is insane.
