-that really embarrassing thing isnt that embarrassing
-people likely WONT remember the really awkward thing you said/did, and if they do, it wont last
-odds are, people AREN'T thinking about you or paying as much attention to you as you think (likewise with what you wear, what you like doing, etc)
-life is uncomfortable. It doesn't get more comfortable when you get older, you just learn to deal with it better.
-one of the best things you can learn is to be confident. It doesnt mean you know everything, it means you can deal with stuff you don't know about.
