I remember the hoopla about that class. Bradley was the gem based upon his potential, but both Roberts and Cuff were better HS players.
The first time I head of Ryan Cuff was when I was in Junior High. Ryan Cuff won some national basketball skills event and was included in the blurb "Faces in the Crowd" that was either a back page or front page in the weekly Sports Illustrated magazine. I was keeping track of what I figured was an LDS kid from rural Richfield, Utah and wondering what would become of this freak of nature after HS and whether that would one day include BYU.
I wasn't aware then that I am now that sometimes some kids develop really early.
Last year Richfield had a 4x800 team that went sub 8:00. While Richfield might be an enormous metropolis compared to my little burg, it is still small enough that having 4 boys who can go sub 2:00 in an 800 is pretty impressive to me.
