I started with the idea of being a writer but taking history courses to give me a lot of content options to develop
my stories from. The problem with that route: before I knew it I was a history professor with a family to support.
Now, my day job takes all my time so I am looking forward to retiring soon and just writing for my retirement job. I might do a military history podcast, too.
