Road rage takes another young father
So stupid, but it's hard to blame the survivor as they both appeared to be involved in fisticuffs. So, so sad the guy's 2 boys witnessed the confrontation.

This article reminded me of a recent personal experience.

Memorial Day weekend I was traveling south on I-15 about 5 miles north of Cove Fort, heading to St. George. This guy in a black Porche with Utah plates that said "2 Toxix" cuts right in front of me. I didn't like it, but I drive rush hour weekdays, so I'm used to this style of driving. I can't say that I've never taken an aggressive move in trying to get into a lane of traffic. I didn't honk at the guy or flash my lights. He might have seen me raise my hands as I exclaimed "ashtray". It's my own foul word I allow myself to use trying to convince myself that it is better than what I'm thinking.

So, just mile down the road (everybody had been driving left lane) the right lane opened and I zoomed on by him and got up in front of him. I didn't cut him off whatsoever, but this act inflamed the dude (I'm assuming he was a dude as he had illegal total tinted windows and you couldn't tell who was in the car) and soon he came up on me and passed me on the right, first chance he got and pulled in front of me again. We're doing 85 and I still didn't do anything like honking or flashing lights. All of a sudden the jerk brake checks me twice. I mean, come on dude! Freaked me and my wife out. I began to call 911 and I had the number in the queue and my wife kept telling me to do it. I began filming him too. I saw the Cove Fort exit was approaching and I took the high road and just exited and enjoyed a treat while we waited for the guy to be long gone. With the amount of Utahans that "carry", I will always try to talk myself off the edge, but such a shame these two men couldn't keep their rage from overcoming them for something so not important in the scheme of things. I come down the same road as these two every work day.
