Let’s be clear about what the KY factor is. It is not getting guys to the NBA
Exactly, although in some cases that might be true.
But for the very best recruits, they are going to the NBA—that’s not what KY brings. What he brings is that guys get an extra year of development and tutoring by the same guy widely considered to be among the best in the league at player development BEFORE they get to the NBA. It’s a pre-rookie year with a guy who knows the league and development of players in the league like nobody else in CBB does.
