for me (and easily the best Godzilla movie I've seen). I consider it better than films on the best Oscar list.

It is easy to go into a movie with unrealistic expectations. I remember hearing praise for Ghostbusters back in the day. I went in thinking it would blow my mind and was vastly disappointed. I saw it again later and now consider it one of my favorite movies of all time (GB1 only).

Also, my wife has had me watch K-dramas with her from time to time, so I don't mind the cultural 'over acting' or reading subtitles.
