You can knock out all of CA pretty easily in a day. DL not so much
Disneyland is pretty tough to do in one day unless you have a really energetic group willing to do open to close and know how to make the most of your time at open and close to close. There are a lot of things you can do to maximize your time at DL and CA but 2 in DL and 1 in CA is the only way to see most of both
