I would much rather go into a season with virtually no expectations only to exceed them rather than go into one with sky high expectations. I don't know where we are going to finish, but I'm pretty sure it will be higher than 14th. It seems at BYU low expectations lead to unexpectedly good seasons.
I would much rather be in this situation than Utah's. Sky high expectations for a perennial 8-5 team who won the weakest conference in the P5 by far twice and lost consecutive Rose Bowls to Ohio State's C team and then got blown out by a Penn State team that finished 3rd in it's own conference. Yeah, I feel sorry for those guys.
