BYU was not ready for p5. Everyone said it would take a couple
Of years to adjust. SOS is one thing but playing a P5 schedule is vastly different than what we had to face in independence. Expecting otherwise is just ridiculous. Just because teams considered us “p5” does not mean we were. It will take a long time to build the kind of depth required to be dominant. Even then, with the portal it makes building depth even more complicated.

Yep. If it weren’t for the scandal, crowton would’ve had one more year. Same will be true for Sitake if 2024 goes poorly
