Just like those going after Pope, those who went after Emery, were not any better. We all heard things that supposedly happened, but the only ones who actual know are Pope, Nick, and maybe a couple teammates. There are people always claiming inside knowledge, but as fans, we are left to try and translate the tea leaves, just like the speculation being done with Pope leaving.
Going after either of them with character assassination, as fans, is not needed, but pointless and wrong. If Nick wants to feel he is vindicated by the way Pope left many feeling he was insincere and not the person many believed him to be, let Nick have his moment and feel that way. What is going after him on social media and messageboards, going to accomplish? It just makes BYU fans look petty for going after a former player, just was we look petty when going after Pope. Let them feel how they do, and move on.
