figure out a mutually-acceptable arrangement that would allow you the time to do this (not just once, but twice now) given possible family obligations? I'm sure I'm not the only one who used to do things like this in a previous stage of life, but find it really difficult to adventure now without feeling like I'm abandoning responsibilities.
