On this trail it looks like a resupply town is close by every four to five days. That's not too bad. For my big three items (backpack, tent, and sleeping bag) I use Z-Packs (total weight of all three is 4 lbs 3 ounces), but I've experimented with a lot of different gear and buy from different brands. My clothes are mostly Kuhl and Outdoor Research.
