When BYU were missing shots Iowa took away the middle and dared them to shoot.

Yes, this was a risk but when shooting team go cold one of the best ways to get back on track is to take it to the hoop and Iowa didn't let them do it. If BYU were hitting those shots I don't think they would have left them wide open. Also Iowa forced some turnovers in the last few minutes.
